Composition

Rye Gold Turf contains perennial ryegrass, prized for its toughness and resilience. It establishes quickly and recovers fast after wear, which is why it’s so widely used on sports pitches.

To complement this, we add two varieties of red fescue, a fine-leaved, low-maintenance grass that spreads gently via underground rhizomes. This helps fill in gaps to create a dense, even lawn, while also boosting shade tolerance, softening the texture, and adding a deeper, richer green to your garden.

Coverage and Delivery Information

All our turfs are supplied in easy-to-lay rolls, covering approx. 1m² each (approx. roll size: 1.7m x 0.6m). All turf is pre-treated with a liquid fertiliser before harvesting to give it a strong, healthy start. This replaces any pre-turfing fertiliser provided with orders.
